Hands on Hanford
Students are covering the 50's and 60's. A guest speaker from Hanford shared her story on Monday and then on Thursday students saw a short film on the Space Race featuring Sputnik. Most finished their homework in class and they should focus their time this weekend on their BQ. All BQ research is due on October 27th
Middle School Language Arts
The title for the School Newspaper is now official "Three Rivers Times". I am so excited to see the first edition...hopefully it will be in print in time for the Conferences on the 27th of October! This will be a monthly publication.
Middle School History
Thanks for all the parental involvement in history assignments. I really am trying to get more assignments that involve you personally!! We finished up on Missionaries and have started on the Statehood of Washington. Students should work on their timelines to personalize their lesson to themselves.
Upcoming...Team Sports will be scrimmaging against Rivers Edge on Tuesday the 21st at 3pm. Hopefully everyone can make it!
